OUR HISTORY

ME YOUTH began in 1995 as an informal, community-driven initiative supported by Middle Eastern business leaders. Its early work focused on empowering youth in Southern California through conferences, mentorship, and programs that promoted positive life choices, resilience,
and spiritual growth.

As the needs of youth and vulnerable communities evolved, so did the organization. ME YOUTH transitioned from an informal initiative to a formally registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2019, expanding its mission to address health, development, and humanitarian
challenges affecting communities in the United States, Egypt, and the broader Middle East.

Today, ME YOUTH leverages decades of professional expertise in public health, behavioral health, civil society strengthening, and humanitarian programming to deliver impactful,
evidence-based interventions.
